HYPRAEL: Driving the energy transition through strategic alliances (SDG 17)

The HYPRAEL project stands as a beacon of international collaboration in the field of renewable hydrogen, demonstrating how strategic partnerships can be a key driver for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 17, which promotes partnerships to achieve the goals.

In a world where energy and climate challenges are increasingly pressing, HYPRAEL brings together partners from 7 countries: The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal in a joint effort to boost research, development and deployment of innovative technologies in the field of renewable hydrogen.

HYPRAEL project not only focuses on research and development of cutting-edge technologies, but is also dedicated to fostering the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices between the partners. This cross-border collaboration accelerates progress towards a more sustainable and resilient hydrogen economy.

The project aligns perfectly with SDG 17, which recognises the importance of global partnerships for sustainable development. By working together, HYPRAEL partners are demonstrating how collaboration can be a catalyst for change and a driver for progress.

In addition to its contribution to SDG 17, HYPRAEL is also contributing to other SDGs, such as SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). By promoting the development of renewable hydrogen, HYPRAEL is helping to build a more sustainable energy future and mitigate the effects of climate change.
